DAMASCUS, March 15 (Xinhua) -- A second blast rocked the resort area of Rabweh in Syrian capital Damascus, just an hour after a suicide bombing targeted the Justice Palace in central Damascus Wednesday, and killed over 30 people, state-run SANA news agency reported.

The blast in Rabweh was carried out by a suicide bomber, who detonated his explosive belt inside one of the restaurants in that area, leaving unknown number of people killed, said SANA.

Details surrounding the blast in Rabweh, a restaurant-rich resort area in western Damascus, are still forthcoming.

The bombing came an hour after a suicide bomber detonated himself inside the Justice Palace, or Courthouse, in central Damascus, killing 30 people and wounded 45 others.

The blast is the latest in a series of bombings that have sparked recently, following a long time of lull.

On Saturday, the al-Qaida-linked Nusra Front carried a suicide bombing in Damascus, killing 74 people, including Iraqi Shiite visitors, who were in Damascus on a pilgrim visit.
