MINSK, March 14 (Xinhua) -- Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has appointed Irina Kostevich as Labor and Social Security Minister, the press service of the head of state said on Tuesday.
The Belarusian leader instructed the new head of the ministry to concentrate efforts on solving the main tasks, namely of ensuring a high level of employment in the country, creation of labor market efficiency, income levels and improving protection of vulnerable people.
Kostevich previously served as the Deputy Economy Minister of Belarus.
