TOKYO, March 13 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the upper 114 yen range in early deals in Tokyo on Monday morning, principally in line with levels seen in New York on Friday.
As markets opened here, the dollar was quoted at 114.76-77 yen compared with 114.79-89 yen in New York and 115.40-41 yen at 5 p.m. on Friday in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0688-0689 dollars and 122.66-68 yen against 1.0671-0681 dollars and 122.47-57 yen in New York and 1.0592-0594 dollars and 122.23-27 yen late Friday afternoon in Tokyo.
