SINGAPORE, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Singapore stocks finished higher on Friday, with the benchmark Straits Times Index (STI) up 14.51 points, or 0.47 percent, to close at 3,133.35.
A total of 2.59 billion shares changed hands with turnover of 1.37 billion Singapore dollars (969.19 million U.S. dollars). Gainers outnumbered decliners 269 to 195.
