PARIS, March 6 (Xinhua) -- France Monday called on the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) to comply with international obligations following DPRK's latest test-launch of four ballistic missiles, the French foreign ministry said.
In a statement, the French foreign ministry denounced DPRK's launch of four ballistic missiles which it called "a violation of the UN Security Council resolutions".
France called on the DPRK "immediately to ensure the complete, verifiable and irreversible dismantlement of its nuclear and ballistic programs", the statement said.
France urged the international community "to take immediate action" to prevent the DPRK from developing nuclear weapons and to safeguard the non-proliferation regime.
The DPRK test-fired four ballistic missiles into east waters early Monday as combined forces of South Korea and the United States launched their joint military exercises last week, the Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) of South Korea said. Enditem
