JAKARTA, March 1 (Xinhua) -- Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud arrived in Jakarta Wednesday, starting a nine-day visit to Indonesia with a series of deals on bilateral cooperation expected to be signed.
The Saudi king was welcomed by Indonesian President Joko Widodo upon his arrival at the Jakarta airport of Halim Perdanakusumah after concluding a four-day visit to Malaysia.
Luhut Pandjaitan, coordinating minister for political, legal and security affairs, said on Wednesday in Bandung that the two countries would sign 10 documents, covering cooperation in flights, oil refinery projects, fuel, sea transportation and tourism, among others.
According to the minister, Saudi investment would be distributed in several provinces in the country. "The investment may reach several million U.S. dollars in each province," he said.
The Saudi king's visit to Indonesia is the second leg of his Asian tour. The king has visited Malaysia and will travel to several other countries in Asia.
