LONDON, Feb. 23 (Xinhua) -- A woman has been killed as Storm Doris brought winds of up to 150 kilometers per hour along with snow and rain to Britain, the BBC reported.
The West Midlands Ambulance Service said the woman had suffered very serious head injuries after a piece of debris fell onto a street in Wolverhampton.
Strong winds have led to flight cancellations and road and rail disruption across much of Britain.
About 3,500 homes and businesses are without power in Northern Ireland due to trees falling onto overhead lines.
