SAPPORO, Japan, Feb. 21 (Xinhua) -- China and Japan remained unbeaten in the women's ice hockey tournament of the Asian Winter Games as South Korea suffered their second loss on Tuesday.
China whitewashed Thailand 15-0 while Japan trounced a Hong Kong side of amateur players 46-0 in the most lopsided game in Sapporo.
South Korea didn't recover from their opening loss to Japan and suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Kazakhstan, who thus kept their hopes for a medal.
China will take on Japan on Wednesday and South Korea Thursday.
