PHNOM PENH, Feb. 16 (Xinhua) -- Cambodian Prime Minister Samdech Techo Hun Sen on Thursday filed the second lawsuit against political commentator Kim Sok who allegedly accused the government for human killings.

Ky Tech, a lawyer for the prime minister, lodged the complaint against Kim Sok to the Phnom Penh Municipal Court, asking the court to punish him in accordance with the law and demanding 2,500 U.S. dollars in compensation.

The lawsuit said Kim Sok's slanderous comments "imply the intention of incitement and the intention of igniting public anger in order to cause social chaos."

The complaint came after Kim Sok commented on Radio Free Asia (RFA) on Monday night that "under the control of the current government, it is allowed to have a system that killed humans and it did not find the killers".

On Monday morning, Hun Sen filed the first complaint against Kim Sok for alleging that the ruling party ordered the July killing of political analyst Kem Ley.

The prime minister said that Kim Sok's groundless accusation had tarnished the image of the ruling Cambodian People's Party.

He demanded 500,000 U.S. dollars in compensation in the first case and suggested the court to punish the commentator in accordance with the law.

Following the first complaint, Phnom Penh Municipal Court's prosecutor Seang Sok has issued a summons for Kim Sok to appear for questioning on Feb. 17 and barred him from leaving the country.
