TEHRAN, Feb. 14 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Ministry on Tuesday condemned a recent deadly terrorist attack in Pakistan's city of Lahore, Press TV reported.

"Through such inhuman and brutal measures, terrorist groups seek to target the determination of regional nations in fighting terrorism," Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qasemi was quoted as saying.

Qasemi expressed sympathy with the Pakistani government, people and families of the victims over the terrorist attack, saying that the Islamic republic would always stand by Pakistan in their battle against terrorism.
