BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) -- A senior official of the Communist Party of China (CPC) on Friday underlined the importance of Party building and anti-corruption as he addressed a meeting on the work of authorities affiliated to the CPC Central Committee.
Li Zhanshu, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, asked agencies directly under the CPC Central Committee to better implement policies of the CPC Central Committee and stick to strict Party governance.
The official called for strict political rules and discipline among the agencies and solid Party building at local level Party organizations.
Li urged all Party organizations to use the wisdom of its members to contribute to creating an all-round moderately prosperous society by 2020 and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, as well as prepare for the 19th National Congress of the CPC to be held this year.
