ZHENGZHOU, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- Eight people were killed in a traffic accident on Wednesday afternoon in central China's Henan Province, local authorities said.
The accident happened on a national highway near Xiaolou Village in Puyang County, when a minibus with eight on board veered into a river. Four people were killed on the spot, while four others died after medical efforts failed.
An investigation into the accident is under way.
