MINSK, Feb. 1 (Xinhua) -- The Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine has called on the conflict sides to observe the ceasefire, envoy of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) in the Trilateral Contact Group on Ukraine Martin Sajdik told reporters on Wednesday.
The negotiators called to withdraw hardware subjected to the Minsk Agreements to the distance determined by them and to storage facilities by February 5, Sajdik said.
The OSCE Special Representative urged the parties of the conflict to ensure safe and reliable access to members of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to carry out its mandate in the conflict zone, as well as to assist humanitarian efforts to restore water and electricity supply, heating and carrying out infrastructure repairs.
Sajdik also said the Contact Group had agreed to exchange the lists of captives.
Another aggravation of confrontation took place on Jan. 29 near the industrial area Avdeevka which is under the control of the Ukrainian army. Now intense fighting can be seen in most sectors of the front.
The next meeting of the contact group is scheduled for Feb. 15.
