TOKYO, Jan. 27 (Xinhua) -- The U.S. dollar changed hands in the mid-114 yen zone in early Friday deals in Tokyo, largely unchanged from levels seen overnight in New York.
As markets opened, the dollar was quoted at 114.45-47 yen compared with 114.48-58 yen in New York and 113.76-77 yen on Thursday at 5 p.m. in Tokyo.
The euro, meanwhile, fetched 1.0682-0683 dollars and 122.27-28 yen against 1.0677-0687 dollars and 122.25-35 yen in New York and 1.0730-0731 dollars and 122.07-11 yen in late afternoon trade on Thursday.
