NEW YORK, Jan. 25 (Xinhua) -- A large blaze ripped through at least 15 stores on Wednesday in a Chinatown in New York City, leaving three firefighters wounded.
More than 130 emergency responders rushed to the scene in the Chinatown of Flushing, a large commercial and retail area in the Queens district, after the fire broke out in the early afternoon, authorities said.
It took firefighters about six hours to extinguish the blaze, and three firefighters suffered minor injuries in the process, according to fire officials.
There was no immediate information on what started the blaze.
