KIGALI, Jan. 23 (Xinhua) -- Rwanda Meteorology Agency on Monday predicted more rain in different parts of the country in the coming days running up to the end of January.

The weather forecast was released after heavy downpour on Saturday pounded different parts of the country, killing three and destroying over 800 houses in Kigali and upcountry.

The agency said the weekend rain was attributed to convective heat transfer from the Indian Ocean.
