NBA reveals starters for 2017 All-Star Game

WASHINGTON, Jan.19 (Xinhua) -- Starting lineups for the 2017 NBA All-Star Game were revealed on Thursday, with LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and James Harden set to headline the roster.

Russell Westbrook of Oklahoma City failed to earn a starting spot, although he averaged a triple-double with 30.6 points, 10.6 rebounds and 10.4 assists per game this season.

The Western Conference starters are Golden State Warriors teammates Stephen Curry and Kevin Durant, James Harden of the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs forward Kawhi Leonard and New Orleans Pelicans center Anthony Davis.

The Eastern Conference starting five are Cleveland Cavaliers teammates Kyrie Irving and LeBron James, Jimmy Butler of the Chicago Bulls, Milwaukee Bucks' dynamic 22-year-old Giannis Antetokounmpo and DeMar DeRozan of the Toronto Raptors.

Fans accounted for 50 percent of the vote to determine the starters. Current players and the media accounted for 25 percent each. Ballots consisted of two guards and three frontcourt players per conference.

This year's All-Star Game will take place at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on Feb 19.
