MUMBAI, Jan. 13 (Xinhua) -- Indian market opened higher Friday among weak global cues.

Investors are weighing whether President-elect Donald Trump would stress growth-boosting steps when he takes office.

The benchmark S&P BSE Sensex opened at 27,353.60, 106.44 points or 0.4 percent up compared to its previous close at 27,247.16.
