SKOPJE, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- The Macedonian Central Bank decided to cut its main interest rate by 0.25 percentage point down to the level of 3.5 percent, the bank said in a press release on Wednesday.
The decision was made due to the continued stabilization of economic expectations and the structural liquidity of the banking sector, the central bank said.
The experts of the national bank also deemed that domestic political risks lowered although they are still present.
According to the central bank, the Macedonian banking sector remained liquid and the annual growth rate in issued credit lines reached 6.6 percent in 2016. Enditem
