BEIJING, Jan. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 7.2 on the Richter scale struck the area near Sulawesi Sea (Celebes Sea) at 2:13 p.m. Beijing Time, according to China Earthquake Network Center (CENC).
The epicenter was measured at 4.53 degree north latitude and 122.69 east longitude, the CENC said.
