KUALA LUMPUR, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian stock market ended lower here on Monday.
The Kuala Lumpur Composite Index (KLCI) was at 1,667.90 down 7.59 points or 0.46 percent, and the Emas was at 11,658.54 down 40.35 points or 0.35 percent.
There were 375 gainers, 422 losers and 362 counters traded unchanged.
Turnover declined to 1.80 billion shares valued at 1.45 billion ringgit Malaysia(323.77 million U.S. dollars), compared with 1.97 billion shares valued at 1.96 billion ringgit Malaysia(437.79 million U.S. dollars) on last Friday.
