HANOI, Jan. 5 (Xinhua) -- Stock market index of Vietnam's capital Hanoi, HNX-Index, closed at 81.33 points on Thursday, down 0.21 points or 0.25 percent against the previous trading session.
A total of over 24.612 million shares worth some 245.448 billion Vietnamese dong (some 11.01 million U.S. dollars) were traded at the Hanoi Stock Exchange on Thursday, a decrease of 7.54 percent in volume and 5.54 percent in value against the previous trading session.
Prices of 79 stocks went up; 82 stocks fell down, while 88 stocks remained unchanged.
