PRAGUE, Jan. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Czech police detained a man who is suspected of threatening with a bomb on a express train heading for Munich on Monday, said spokeswoman Marcela Pucelikova of Beroun police.
According to police, 254 passengers were evacuated near Beroun due to the bomb threat and the traffic on the rail line was halted for tens of minutes.
The police found no bomb on the train. After a few hours of delay, the train was allowed to continue its journey.
The suspect is a 44-year-old Czech man. He was drunk when threatening with a bomb on the train.
Pucelikova said he will face up to five years in prison for scaremongering if being found guilty.
