ZAGREB, Dec. 20 (Xinhua) -- President of Croatian Football Federation (CFF) Davor Suker said Tuesday Croatia will play China Cup next month in Nanning, China.

"The China Cup ... is a wealthy Chinese corporation Wanda Group that stands behind the organization of this tournament and we are honored to participate," Suker said during a meeting with UEFA president Aleksander Ceferin in Zagreb.

"We all know that clubs like Real Madrid, FC Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Manchester United or Arsenal tour across Asia to make money. It is written in the contract how much money we will make. I don't have to tell you the details but we are very satisfied," the CFF president said.

"Since this is not an official FIFA week we are not able to invite the best Croatian players. This is a chance for players from our top national division to show what they can do and maybe some of them could make it to the team that, hopefully, will play at 2018 World Cup in Russia," Suker added.

During the visit UEFA president spoke highly about the results of Croatian football and fantastic Croatian players but he also pointed out some problems that Croatian Football Federation have to fight against.

Suker promised to fight against hooligans and better financial support.
