NEW YORK, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 6.1 on the Richter scale jolted 131 km of northwest Arawa, Papua New Guinea, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) said on Saturday.
The epicenter, with a depth of 157.05 km, was initially determined to be at 5.6598 degrees south latitude and 154.4882 degrees east longitude.
