DUBAI, Dec. 10 (Xinhua) -- Chinese golfer Feng Shanshan won her fourth title of the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters here at the Emirates Golf Club on a sunny but windy Saturday afternoon.

The 27-year old professional player from Guangzhou left no doubt who was ruling the green of the Emirates Golf Club on the final day and finished the tournament with a total 10 under par.

Feng took a 75,000 Euro check home (out of a total of 500,000 Euro prize money that was distributed at the Omega Dubai Ladies Masters 2016).

Just on Thursday, Feng told Xinhua she was not happy with her performance of the first rounds of this year's tournament and managed to improve during the last two days.

Second was Charley Hull from England (eight under par) while India's Aditi Ashok placed third.

Nicknamed Jenny and currently ranked fourth in the ladies profession golf world, Feng was also victorious in 2012, 2014, 2015 in Dubai, making her the most successful female player of all times at the Dubai Masters.

Feng, who won the bronze medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, told Xinhua on Thursday that her ambitions did not stop in Brazil. "I really plan to play at the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo," she added.

Feng hoped her career path will motivate more Chinese players. "The options and conditions to learn the game are much better today in China. I am ready to provide any help to young talented girls who want to kick off a career in this great sport," said Feng.

This year's tournament was overshadowed on Wednesday during round one by the death (heart attack) of 56-year old caddie Maximilian Zechmann who was carrying the bag of Anne-Lise Caudal from France.
