NAIROBI, Dec. 9 (Xinhua) -- Kenya Airways said Friday that it will increase flights between Kenya's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) and two European countries to help cope with customer demands.

Kenya Airways CEO Mbuvi Ngunze said the airline would increase frequency between JKIA in Nairobi and Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and Paris, France during the 2017 summer schedule.

He noted in a statement that the added flights were to accommodate the increasing demand from Europe and North America especially during the summer peak season.

"The additional flights arrive and depart in Amsterdam in the early morning, providing strong connectivity from Europe and North America," Ngunze said.

The Paris route will see a new morning departure out of Nairobi, with return flights from Paris in the evening, arriving in Nairobi in the morning.
