MOSCOW, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) -- Russian special forces got the first sets of camouflage paste, which makes people almost invisible to thermal imaging devices, Russian newspaper Izvestia reported Monday.

The paste "Tuman-R," when applied to the skin, absorbs up to 95 percent of infrared radiation produced by the human body and can maintain its effects up to two weeks, the report said.

The paste does not cause allergies or dry the skin but has healing effects -- it heals abrasions, helps treat hematomas and repels bloodsucking insects, the report added.

Besides, it only needs a damp cloth to wash off the paste.

The "Tuman-R" is a set of three tubes of the paste in black, brown and green, which should all be applied to exposed parts of the body for a camouflage.
