WARSAW, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- Poland's lower house of parliament on Friday passed a resolution condemning "regular, mass scale murdering of religious minorities" by the Islamic State (IS), local media reported.
The text of the resolution is based on similar documents drafted by the UN Security Council and the European Parliament, according to Polish Press Agency.
The resolution condemns "aggressive extremist ideology" of IS, regular and widespread attacks against civilians, violations of human rights and the international humanitarian law, and the devastation of artefacts of cultural heritage.
