MADRID, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Spain's consumer prices rose 0.7 percent in November when compared with the same month of a year earlier, according to advanced data of the Consumer Price Index (CPI) published on Tuesday by Spain's Statistical Office (INE).

The INE said that prices of fuel and lubricants had fallen, however, it will confirm this data on Dec. 13, when it will provide a more detailed explanation about the evolution of prices.

If so, the country's annual inflation rate would have been rising for three consecutive months year-on-year after rising by 0.2 percent in September and 0.7 percent in October, with September marking the first positive rate in nine months.

Meanwhile, according to the INE, consumer prices rose 0.3 percent from October to November. Enditem
