JINAN, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- Several trains on the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed rail have been delayed or canceled, as a section of the railway in Shandong Province suffered an equipment failure on Tuesday.
The problem arose on the section between Jinan to Dezhou at around 9:30 a.m., as a result of an accident in a nearby factory, according to railway authorities of Jinan.
The section is being repaired.
