BERLIN, Nov. 25 (Xinhua) -- German manufacturers' expectations in export growth declined significantly in November, research group Ifo institute reported on Friday.
The outlook value fell to 6.9 points in November from 13.9 balance points in October, the Munich-based think tank said.
According to the report, export expectations dampened in almost all important sectors.
"The results of the U.S. elections seem to have caused uncertainty among German exporters," Ifo president Clemens Fuest commented.
The Ifo Export Expectations are based on around 2,700 monthly reports from manufacturers, who are asked to report their export expectations for the next three months.
