ZAGREB, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- The best Croatian tennis player Marin Cilic and world No. 41 Federico Delbonis will open the Davis Cup final battle on Friday in a state of art Arena Zagreb.

The official draw ceremony was held Thursday in the Vatroslav Lisinski Concert Hall here as Croatia will meet Argentinean.

Croatia hopes to repeat the feat of 11 years ago when Ivan Ljubicic and Mario Ancic beat Slovakia in Bratislava to become the 12th nation to win the Cup since 1900.

Legendary Wimbledon champion Goran Ivanisevic comes out of the retirement to help the team in doubles and Ivo Karlovic is the backup to Ljubicic and Ancic.

The Argentineans are seeking for their first title on the 5th try, after losing the finals in 1981, 2006, 2008 and 2011.

David Nalbandian and Juan Martin del Potro are heralding Argentina.

"I am very confident that we can put up a great fight. After everything that happened to me and after the great season that is behind me I see this final as another great opportunity," Del Potro said on Thursday.

"I will serve him (Del Petro) with an intense therapy of aces. Anyway it will be a very tough task to beat him. He had a great year but mine wasn't bad at all," Karlovic said.
