Pelicans dominate Hawks on 112-94

WASHINGTON, Nov. 22 (Xinhua) -- The New Orleans Pelicans beat the Atlanta Hawks 112-94 on Tuesday night, winning their third straight game.

The Pelicans shot 52 percent from the field and made 11-of-25 three-point attempts. Tim Fraizer had a double-double as he grabbed 21 points and 14 assists. Terrence Jones added 17. Pelicans forward Anthony Davis, the NBA's leading scorer, finished with 13 points as he missed the second and third quarter after bruising his right knee. E'Twaun Moore and Jrue Holiday each scored 15 points for the Pelicans.

Dennis Schroder and Kyle Korver led the Hawks with 14 points apiece. Although power forward Paul Millsap avoided matching up with Davis for most of the night, he had just 10 points and eight rebounds for the Hawks, who have lost three in a row.

New Orleans, who held the Hawks to just 34 points in the paint the whole game, led by 20 points on 34-14 at the end of the first quarter and never looked back.
