HAVANA, Nov.21 (Xinhua) -- Cuba's first Vice President Miguel Diaz-Canel on Monday met with Yukiya Amano, director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), exploring ways to further cooperation.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation on human health, livestock health, environment protection and others, and discussed how to expand cooperation in the near future.

On several occasions, the international nuclear energy watchdog IAEA has acknowledged Cuba's contribution to and cooperation in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, and the training of its experts, Cuban media reported.
