BEIRUT, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Lebanon's President Michel Aoun stressed on Monday Lebanon's keenness on boosting the Lebanese-Saudi relations, appreciating the stances taken by Saudi King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz towards Lebanon, the presidential office said in a statement.

Aoun, who received a highly ranked Saudi Delegation headed by Mecca Governor Prince Khaled al-Faisal, thanked the Saudi concern for the Lebanese in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, indicating that Lebanese "worked and will always work for the good of Saudi Arabia and its prosperity," according to the statement.

Accompanied by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Nizar Madani, Al-Faisal delivered on Monday a letter of congratulation to Aoun on his election forwarded by King Salman, along with an invitation to visit the kingdom.

Aoun accepted the invitation and promised to visit the kingdom following the formation of the new cabinet.
