LUSAKA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Zambian President Edgar Lungu is expected in Equatorial Guinea on Tuesday to attend the fourth Africa-Arab summit, a senior government official said on Monday.
Susan Sikaneta, Zambia's permanent representative to the African Union (AU) said Lungu will join other leaders at the fourth Africa-Arab summit in Malabo, the capital of Equatorial Guinea.
Apart from issuing an important statement, the Zambian leader is expected to hold bilateral meetings with leaders of Qatar, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates and the King of Saudi Arabia, she added.
The summit will be held under the theme, "Together for a Sustainable Economic Development."
According to her, this year's summit is expected to build up on resolutions made from the previous summit held in Kuwait in 2013.
It will also focus on finding common grounds for economic and sustainable development cooperation.
