Over 20 countries/regions to take part in ITF tennis tournament in Indonesia

JAKARTA, Nov. 21 (Xinhua) -- Tennis players from more than 20 countries and regions will vie in the ITF Men' s ProCircuit tennis tournament at Indonesia' s capital of Jakarta from November 28 to December 18, association said here on Monday.

Among the participating countries are Britain, China, Russia, Germany, Japan, South Korea, Canada, the Netherland, Indonesia and India, said Wibowo Suseno, chairman of Indonesian Tennis Association (Pelti).

The tournament will provide a total of 30,000 U.S. dollars prices, the chairman said in his office.

Some of Indonesia' s top players will compete with the international opponents in the tournament, Suseno added.

Among the players are Christopher Rugkat, David Agug Susaato, Aditya Hari Sasongko and Athony Susanto, he added.

"We will give experience to our players by vying with the opponents from more than 20 countries," Suseno said.

The tournament will provide a total of 30,000 U.S. dollars prices, the chairman said in his office.

Some of Indonesia' s top players will compete with the international opponents in the tournament, Suseno added.
