MACAO, Nov. 15 (Xinhua) -- Macao staged its fourth edition of MGS Entertainment Show here on Tuesday with the theme of creativity and innovation.
As the only large scale gaming and entertainment exhibition run by Macao organizations, this years exhibition space covered 12,000 square meters with the participation of hundreds of international exhibitors.
The show is doubling its floor size every years, and it is now not only about gaming but also includes entertainment and service as Macao has diversified its revenue away from gaming only, Jay Chan, chairman of the organizer, Macao Gaming Equipment Manufacture Association (MGEMA) said.
Cultural and creative district and emerging technology area are the highlights of the show. Virtual reality bicycle racing game displayed here attracted many customers to experience.
"The gaming industry is one of the most innovative, pioneering and creative sectors in the business world, the MGS is aiming to reflect this," said Chan.
He noted that the key focus this year is set to make the event the home to innovation and creativity, which means the new platform and systems in technology, the latest creative ideas behind gaming and entertainment.
A series of seminars and other special events will also be hosted during the three-day exhibition.
