TEHRAN, Nov. 13 (Xinhua) -- An international aviation exhibition will take off in Iran's Kish Island on Tuesday to display the latest developments in the aircraft and aviation industry, reported the semi-official Fars news agency on Sunday.

Iran deployed its MiG-29 and home-made Saeqeh fighter jets to Kish Island which is located in the Persian Gulf, in addition to other types of warplanes, including F-4, F-14 and F-1 which will all take part in the four-day exhibition.

Major international aircraft manufacturers, including Airbus, as well as spare parts manufacturing companies will attend the show, said the Secretary of Iranian Airlines Association Maqsoud Asa'adi Samani.

Furthermore, both the Russian Knights Acrojet team and the Latvian Baltic Bees team will display their capabilities during the air-show, the report said.

The upcoming exhibition is one of the biggest industrial events in the aftermath of Iran's nuclear deal with world powers in July 2015.
