ISLAMABAD, Nov. 3 (Xinhua) -- At least 13 people were killed and 72 others injured when 12 vehicles piled up in Pakistan's east Punjab province on Thursday, local media reported.
Dawn News said that 11 cars and a bus hit into each other at Islamabad-Lahore motorway near Hafizabad district.
Police said that the accident happened due to low visibility as dense fog was engulfing some parts of the motorway when the accident happened.
Some sections of the motorway were closed.
The injured people have been shifted to a nearby hospital.
