Durant's 37 points leads Warriors past Suns 106-100

WASHINGTON, Oct.30 (Xinhua) -- Kevin Durant scored a game-high 37 points as the Golden State Warriors beat the Phoenix Suns 106-100 on Sunday.

"I was just taking what the defense was giving me. If you play me straight up, I like my chances," Durant said.

Stephen Curry scored 28 points and Klay Thompson had 14 points and 6 rebounds. Draymond Green finished with 5 points, 9 assists and 13 rebounds. T.J. Warren had a team-high 26 points and Eric Bledsoe scored 21 for Phoenix. Tyson Chandler grabbed 8 points and 18 rebounds.

The Suns led by as many as 13 in the first half before the Warriors surged a run in the fourth quarter to put the Warriors up 102-94. But Bledsoe, Warren and Jared Dudley made consecutive layups each for Phoenix to cut it to 102-100 with 14.8 seconds left. Curry made two free throws with 12.9 seconds left and Durant added two free throws with seven seconds left to seal the victory.
