DAQING, China, Oct. 28 (Xinhua) -- Chinese superstar Ding Junhui enjoyed a magnificent 9-4 victory over World No.3 Judd Trump to be the first finalist at 2016 World Snooker International Championship in Daqing, China here on Friday.

In the best-of-17 semifinal today. The first session of eight frames witnessed a dreamy 6-0 start of the home favorite. Judd Trump cut the deficit down to 2-6 before the break.

The audience of the night session only watched five frames before Ding ordered his berth at the final 9-4, but the scoring show of his 134-point century break in the twelfth frame was still worth the ticket.

"Too tired today I think, I tried hard but made too many mistakes." said the disappointed World No.3 after the match.

Ding said he didn' t think too much on the score, just trying hard to concentrate on the match. Ding had won the title of International Championship in 2013.

Tomorrow' s semifinal will be a clash of the titans between World No. 1 Mark Selby and World No. 2 Stuart Bingham.
