NEW YORK, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted 86km WSW of San Antonio, Chile at 20:32:55 GMT on Thursday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 14.8 km, was initially determined to be at 33.7647 degrees south latitude and 72.5338 degrees west longitude.
