HANOI, Oct. 27 (Xinhua) -- Stock market index of Vietnam's capital Hanoi, HNX-Index, closed at 82.69 points on Thursday, up 0.43 points or 0.52 percent against the previous trading session.
A total of over 29.431 million shares worth some 296.862 billion Vietnamese dong (some 13.31 million U.S. dollars) were traded at the Hanoi Stock Exchange on Thursday, a decrease of 24.77 percent in volume and 30.47 percent in value against the previous trading session.
Prices of 97 stocks went up; 72 stocks fell down, while 75 stocks remained unchanged.
