Chinese experts under an agreement between China, Uganda and UN's Food and Agriculture Organization are training farmers in better practices. The agreement is under the auspices of the South to South Cooperation program established in 2009 to help developing countries share knowledge and expertise so that all can benefit from innovations and good practices that have been tried and tested in countries facing similar conditions and challenges.
