PHNOM PENH, Oct.26 (Xinhua) -- A Cambodian court will deliver a verdict for opposition senator Hong Sok Hour on the charges of forgery and incitement on Nov. 7, a court spokesman said Wednesday.

"The court will pronounce its ruling against Hong Sok Hour on Nov. 7 at 14:30 (local time)," Phnom Penh Municipal Court's spokesman Ly Sophanna told reporters.

Hong Sok Hour, 59, was caught red-handed on Aug. 15 last year in Phnom Penh after he posted to Facebook a fake version of a border treaty signed between Cambodia and Vietnam in 1979.

The court charged him with falsifying a public document, using the falsified document, and inciting chaos to social security. Under the Kingdom's penal code, he could face up to 17 years in jail if convicted.
