NEW DELHI, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- New Zealand's Prime Minister John Key arrived in Delhi Tuesday on a three-day tour of India after a one-day delay.
Sources said that Key will meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday during which the two leaders are expected to discuss various issues of mutual interest.
The visiting New Zealand prime minister will also call on Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, apart from participating in a business summit before going to the southern city of Kochi Thursday.
Key, who had last visited India in 2011, is accompanied by members of New Zealand Parliament Mark Mitchell and Kanwaljit Singh Bakshi.
Key's arrival to India has been delayed by a day after the Air Force Boeing 757 carrying him and 80 other passengers broke down in Townsville.
The visiting prime minister was due to land in Mumbai Monday evening, but the unfortunate incident forced him to scrap his Mumbai program altogether, and he arrived in the Indian capital a day later.
