KUNMING, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Four people were rescued after being trapped due to a ceiling collapse in a tunnel in southwest China's Yunnan Province, authorities said Tuesday.
Six people were trapped after the ceiling of the tunnel, located in Yunxian County of Lincang City, collapsed early Monday morning. Rescuers are searching for two who are still missing, the city government said.
The four rescued, who are hospitalized, are in stable condition.
The tunnel, which is under construction, is part of a railway linking Dali and Lincang cities.
