NEW YORK, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) -- U.S. stocks ended higher Monday as Wall Street digested positive earnings reports as well as corporate merger announcements.
The Dow added 0.43 percent, and the S&P 500 gained 0.47 percent, while the Nasdaq jumped 1.00 percent.
